DESCRIPTION
- Identify customer needs and recommend products such as lawn tractors, compact utility tractors, side-by-side vehicles, agricultural tractors and farm machinery.
- Prepare calculations and quotes and present them to customers.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
- Follow up on quotes to maximize sales.
- Deliver products and put them into service.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Autonomous and able to work as part of a team.
- Proactive and resourceful.
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
- Build trust and show a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Interest in machinery, without necessarily having extensive knowledge.
- Computer skills are required.
- English is a strong asset.
DESCRIPTION
- Welcome customers courteously and identify their needs.
- Find the required parts using the John Deere computer system or online research.
- Promote our product line.
- Place orders and handle their receipt.
- Notify customers when their parts arrive and ship orders when needed.
- Process billing at the counter or by phone.
- Stay on top of new products.
- Make sure displays are well stocked and well presented.
- Report complaints to the manager and suggest solutions.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Good mechanical knowledge.
- Comfortable with computers.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Available to work Saturday mornings when needed.
- English is an asset.
- Good people skills, judgment and memory, and able to work under pressure (varies with the time of year).
