A well-established family-owned business
More than 70 years ago, Mr. Émile Larochelle started his business with a blacksmith shop in the village of Saint-Isidore. In 1952, he expanded his operations to include the sale of John Deere machinery. He continued to work as a blacksmith until 1965. Sadly, Émile passed away in 1973 at the age of 56. His three sons—Armand, Gérard, and Réjean—quickly joined the business that was so dear to them. In 1976, the current garage was built, and the business began to flourish. A few years later, it was the turn of his two grandsons, Nicolas and François, to take the reins and carry on the family legacy into a third generation.
Today, François and his team continue to specialize in the sale and service of agricultural and residential machinery under the John Deere brand. Émile Larochelle Inc. is, in fact, the last independent dealer in the region. It also carries products from other companies such as Stihl, SaMASZ, Degelman, Hardi, Unverferth, Agrimétal, and Cotech.
